R/R Ridge & Route

Privacy policy

A quiet site should have a clear privacy page.

Last updated: September 1, 2026.

Information collected by the site

Ridge & Route is a static information site. The web host may process standard technical logs — such as IP address, browser type, requested path, and timestamp — to operate the site and protect it from abuse.

Contact messages

If you email us, we use the information you choose to provide to read and respond to your message. Please do not send passwords, account numbers, or other sensitive personal information.

Analytics

When analytics is enabled, we may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which guides are read and how far the page is scrolled). GA4 may set cookies and collect aggregated usage data. This section will be updated with the exact measurement configuration before analytics is introduced.

Advertising

Ridge & Route is planned to be funded by advertising. Before advertising is enabled, this page will be updated to describe how Google AdSense and other vendors use cookies and identifiers, how personalization works, and how you can control it. Advertising will not change the editorial scope of the guides.

Cookie consent

For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, personalized advertising requires consent obtained through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) that supports IAB TCF. A CMP will be configured before advertising is enabled, and this page will link to it. For visitors in California and other US states, we will provide a “Do not sell or share my personal information” control as required by applicable law.

Your choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding personal information, including access, correction, and deletion. You can exercise those rights, or ask a question about this policy, by emailing haroundkhil13@gmail.com.

Changes

This page will be updated before any new service (analytics, advertising, consent management, or embedded content) is introduced, so that the policy always matches the services actually in use.
